FF7 Rebirth Expedition Intel 3 Location And Objectives Guide
Exploring the expansive world map of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth requires players to track down various points of interest for Chadley's research database. Among these objectives, scanning Lifesprings through Expedition Intel helps players gather valuable regional lore and unlock rare crafting materials. Locating Expedition Intel 3 in the Grasslands, known as the Morass Lifespring, allows players to expand their map coverage while preparing for tough battles in the region.
Finding the Expedition Intel 3 Location
The Expedition Intel 3 node is situated in the southeastern section of the Grasslands, tucked deep within the murky swamp area. To reach this spot, players should head south toward the Swamps, navigating past abandoned structural ruins and muddy pathways. If you encounter difficulty spotting the precise path, keeping an eye out for environmental landmarks near the water usually leads straight to the entrance.
As you approach the target area, a distinct yellow Springseeker Owl will appear nearby to guide Cloud toward the Lifespring. Following the bird's flight path ensures that you do not get turned around in the foggy terrain. Once the bird perches near the glowing crystal cluster, you can safely approach the site.
Completing the Lifespring Objectives
Upon reaching the Morass Lifespring, interact with the crystalline structure to begin the scanning minigame. Players must complete a timed button prompt, pressing the designated button when the moving reticle aligns with the central ring. Successfully completing the scan secures the World Intel data for Chadley.
Completing this objective rewards players with regional development data points used to craft new Materia. Additionally, analyzing this site reveals neighboring points of interest on your map, such as hidden excavation zones or nearby fiend habitats. It serves as a vital stepping stone for clearing all Grasslands objectives efficiently.
Why Expedition Intel Matters for Progression
Scanning Lifesprings throughout each region does far more than just fill out your completion percentage. Gathering data for Chadley unlocks powerful combat simulator trials and provides access to unique game-changing items. Players aiming for complete regional mastery will need every bit of data available across the map.
Furthermore, scanning multiple Lifesprings in the Grasslands reveals the location of Classified Intel fiends. Defeating these secret boss targets yields rare crafting components necessary for high-tier equipment recipes. Taking time to secure Expedition Intel 3 ensures your party stays well-equipped for the journey ahead.
